Sheet metal and marble were used in the Kakovolo project. The ready made sheet metal is a tool used to separate two marble volumes in the quarries. The appearance of a crumpled pillow, formed after the explosion interacts with a perfectly adjusted fragment of marble between the iron folds. Thus, an element of memory is created between the two conflicting materials which in the end embrace each other in absolute harmony. The reason for the work was the personal narrative of my father on the mountain Kakovolo in Kythnos island.
